Re: Possible Silly Question.

Ed Truck broke the rear axle, which a problem with really fast Sy's (rear needs to be upgraded). I personally think the few that have done it, its not that big of deal. Its probably hard on the transmission and transfer case just like doing AWD launches. If you looking to do wheelie's to impress and burnouts to show off, I recomend a 2wd S-10. You will have a broken SyTy paperweight with a small budget and that kind of abuse. (You will be breating you truck up to make it accellerate slower.)

Yeah I Understand. Trust me, I try not to beat things up, unless I know I can replace them.

So what axels do these have under them? and gears?

3.42's?

Is the rear a 7.5 10 bolt, with 28 spline axels?

Im sure theres a site somewhere, that can give me all the specs on these types of things.

With a Sy/Ty/GN, The only thing that will be 100% New to me, and I hope I get to learn it, Is Boost and Computer, All my vehicles have been N/A and Carb'd.

Say I just bought a Typhoon, In 1993, Show room floor, Brand New...

What would a list of mods be?

And Maybe explain them a little? Should I start a new thread?

I've read to, Make the intercooler pump, run continuously, and not just when air temps read X... Is a beginning mod.

Exhaust??

Im going to be completely new to this scheme of things.

Im use to, Exhaust... Intake/Carb.... Heads/Cam... Around that order... Im sure its different on boosted applications...

I see people running low times on "Stock Motor" So... Basically Is it... Chip, Tune, and More Boost? Ect?
