Possible Dates Poll

Please Note: This poll is only to get a general idea of when we can draw the most attendance. Just because one weekend may have more votes, doesn't necessarily mean that's the weekend that will be picked. There are outside factors, such as track availability, hotel availability etc. that we have to factor in. However, that being the case, if we have a general idea of when people can make it, we can work around that to narrow down the dates.

So please, let us know when you'd be able to attend. :tup:

One thing that you have to consider is on holiday weekends, the room rates are going to be more than a premium. And alot of kids will be back in school that week before Labor day. They will have Monday off, but be back in class tuesday.
I voted for August dates so if the wife & child would like to come, it is still during summer vacation, or the little one can stay at grandparents for a week without problems.

The June date is too close to the Hot Rod Power Tour,it runs June 4th through the 11th

The June date is too close to the Hot Rod Power Tour,it runs June 4th through the 11th

I doubt the Power Tour will have any significant influence on Nats attendance in particular truck attendance. I only know of one SyTy owner to do the long haul in the power tour. The Power Tour starts FL. I would guess none of the Florida SyTy owners are going to be driving to CO anyways. I could be wrong but for years FL SyTy owners didn't make the journey to Kansas City, moving is 600 miles west is only going to dissuade them even more.

I cant believe he HRPT is coming through Muskegon and Detroit this year! The bad part is a wedding I have to stand in over in NJ.....

There had always been at least 2-3 Sy/Ty's on every power tour I've been on, I've never took mine and I'm sure there are other Sy/Ty owners, that go, but don't take theirs. Just because it starts in Florida, doesn't mean, it will only effect the Florida crowd. I'm more prone to go, when it ends closer to me, then where it starts

I also need an "official date" so I can submit my time off also by the 16th of January or I may not be able to attend. All vacation for the year must be turned in on Monday January 17 or they will pick days for you.

I'm helping T-Jay with the track rental at Bandimere speedway. I apologize that this is taking longer to get a firm date but Bandimere did have the complete calendar ready until after Jan 1st. I left Bruce K. (track official) a VM today to get this set in stone.

Looks like Aug 5th is the winner here. They only rent out on Wednesday's and Friday's for private track days.
