plug gap

I have got a few questions for those who know trucks pretty well.

I decided before I button things up, I would review some things. firs was the plugs.

After I inspected the plugs I noticed they were NGK ur5IX some Iridium plug. I was told that with upgraded turbo the gap has to be correct or the boost start to blow some of the spark out. Not sure how true it is but was told. Are these plugs even good for the application. I checked the gaps and there at .030

Also I have a down pipe mated to the turbo, does this require a gasket? I notice some turbos have the metal crushable gasket for the hot sides of like- turbo/wastegate. I believe my wastegate has a simmilar one on the hotter side and the other dump gets a hi-temp gasket. Does anyone have a reccomendation for the downpipe gasket or just run it clamped down tight? Also Is there a gasket for the turbo/header. Since I upgrade to PTE I did not see any thing offered and wondering what should be done before bolting all up. Thanks

Re: plug gap

Clone man thanks for the imput. I checked the forum search bar and alot of NGK related stuff came up. all from years ago some new some old. I remember reading about a recent post (ur6). I did get a variety of info. From reading said that these are NOT adjustable gap- they pre set- Like mentioned im @ 30 thou. vcei or what ever that sticker is says(underhood), oem plugs are same gap- with upgrades was not sure if we wanted to tighten it up a tad bit or leave it alone. Again, truck never ran correct after 100% rebuild so this is try 2.
