so last week a guy rings my door bell and asked if my "blazer" was for sale. he has a plow that would fit on it. i said no and its not a blazer. will the jimmy then. not a jimmy either its a typhoon. guy had no clue wasn't worth my time to tell him. just dont get people some times lol:rotf: i should have told him 8 grand. it would make one nice plow truck lol would be the fastest plow truck around lol.

You should have let him look inside and see there was no 4WD shifter and ask him if his plow setup fits a 2WD

I still get the "monkey-doing-an-algebra-equation" look when people ask me about my truck and they've never heard of a Syclone or Typhoon before...:rotf:

I had something similar the other day at a gas station, gentleman says I used to sell GMC's back in California. Starts talking about those Typhoons and how he had a few at his dealership. Realize that he has no clue that I'm driving one, until he asks what's in mine and I see the light bulb go off with him.......

On the other hand, some people have recognised mine and been fairly knowledgeable. Noone in the UK has a clue so when I pull in places here it's really nice.

You guys are much more likely to compliment someone about a car - I like that about the USA.

i bought mine to a car show once. some kid walks by and tell me its just a blazer with a body kit! i just told him to keep walking he wasn't worth my time. but the guy that was parked on the side of my couldn't belive it had a turbo in it lol.

Years ago, my Corvette had been sitting for almost 2 years because it needed transmission. After 1 1/2 years I started getting people stopping by to see if was FS. I knew at that moment the car had been sitting too long LOL.
