I Have A 92 Typhoon New Motor New Turbo Stock 3 Bar I Think The Problem Is [the Ultimate 10 In 1 Chip That Plugs Into The Computer That Is Wired To An Adjustable Box In Glove Box ] It Stutters When The Turbo Comes On Just Had A Local Mech. Go Over Everything New Plugs No Vacume Leeks Timming Dead On Cant Determine Proble Becaus I Dont Have A Stock Chip, And Cant Find One Any Where In Us, So I Cant Set It Back To Stock To Find Out What The Heck Is Going On.

I am guessing the problem isnt your chip. Even if you get a stock chip to try, you will need a 2-bar MAP sensor to try with it. The stock chip wont run right with a 3-bar. I sent a PM back to you. You would be better off meeting up with someone from this board to get some real help. What fuel pump do you have? I would bet your pump is inadequate, or having some other related fuel problem.

my typhoon is stuttern when turbo kicks on runs fine on motor i have a 10 in 1 chip that is wired to program box that is adjustible i think the promlem lies in there

The motor runs fine had fuel pump checked i have a fuel pressure guage tryed between 42 to 48 no change it only happens when i get on it the turbo starts lagging studdering every thing was perfect one day just stated acting up i dont have any codes because of the 10in1 cant figure problem out till i get it stock i think? do you know any where i can take it.

How did you/they check your fuel pump? Just attaching a guage to the rail at idle, or even while giving the engine a "rev" wont do. You would need to drive and get into some boost while you watch the gauge. Just because you have a new pump doesnt mean that the sock or screen isnt full of crud from the tank. Is your pump a stock replacement or high output? The rubber hose from the pump to the tank plate has recently been a problem for a few members here, shortly after installing new pumps.

Chips dont usually go bad. I also dont think that the 10 in 1 disables codes, but I am not 100% on that.

well idont know do know where i could take it the last place i took it to was a performance speed shop all the did was tell me fuel pump was fine change plugs and check for vacume leeks i dont know where to go from here. when i boost the pressure gauage goes to about 60 however that is while it is bogging down thanks alot for your help troy

If you have a 10n1, the stock chip is usually piggy backed to that in side the ECM. It has to have a stock or aftermarket MEMCAL to run. Other wise you can buy a stock chip from the dealer. List is probably $75.

just some FYI...

There is absolutely no one in Orlando your going to be able to take your truck to without having it come back more f*cked up than it is.

I dont care what anyone tells you, there is no one that knows d*ck to tune these trucks except for the actual owners in the area. Stay away from the GN owners and their tuners, they will just screw it up as well.

If you need a stock chip, I can get you one. I got your PM, i'll give you a call by the weekend...

Now, by shuttering do you mean the trucks loading up with fuel when you get into boost/rpm's? Or just feels completely out of power? When you get into boost (and at what psi, assuming you have an aftermarket boost gauge? yes/no?) do you see a lot of black smoke coming from the truck when you get on it hard?

Do you have stock injectors or aftermarket? You said you had a new motor in the truck, who rebuilt it? Stock CI? Stock heads? Any cam? What size turbo? What exactly is done to the truck, and a stock chip wont help if you have a 3bar map like said above.

I have a Ult. verson 7 that I can let you try in your truck if you want. Besides a few, I'm probably the closest, depending on what side of Orlando you live on. I'm north of Orlando, in Lake county.

I cant do anything this weekend, I had a uncle pass away tuesday so I'm tied down with stuff for this weekend, but can do something mid next week if you'd like. Let me know.

HEY TIM THANKS ALOT IF YOU CAN GIVE ME A CALL 407-832-7768 IT IS REALLY TOUGH TO TRY TO EXPLAIN EVERY THING. IT IS BRAND NEW BUT STOCK, EXCEPT 3 BAR AND PISTONS & H BAR MY FATHER REBUILT OVER THE LAST YEAR HAD NO PROBLEMS TILL A WEEK AGO WENT TO SHELL GAS WHEN I STARTED HER IT WAS JUST STUDDERING MOTOR AND IDEL SINCE TOOK TO PERFORMANCE SHOP NEW PLUGS, NEW FUEL FILTER ,NO VACUME LEEKS, HOWEVER CANT DETERMINE WHAT IT IS, I THINK BECAUSE THE ULTIMATE 10 IN 1 CHIP THAT IS WIRED TO A ADJUSTIBLE BOX IN THE GLOVE BOX IS WHAT IS GIVING THE PROBLEM. BUT THAT IS A NON CACULATED GUESS
