I found a source of a transmission fluid leak today. It was coming out of the hard line that goes into the bottom of the radiator. There was a pinhole at the bend just before it entered the radiator and the ATF was at a barely visable stream. Do you think that it's possible for fluid to leak here and then move all the way to the bottom of the pan and even the front pump area. FWIW I have my TC inspection cover off. When I'm driving I realize that the wind would force the fluid back...that's obvious. But what about up into the pump area? I have dried everything off before and tried to see if fluid was coming out of the front seal while the ty was on a lift, but not a drop. Then I would drive around only to find the pan dripping with fluid and the exposed TC slinging ATF all over the exhaust!
Thoughts? (besides I'm a jackass)
