The previous owner tinted the lights, the hood is steel, and the wheels are 15" 10s with
Nitto 275/50/15 drag radials. The rims are Billett specialties

Is that a local car show? I'd still like to check out your truck in person. Looks nice

Yes.
It is in Putnam,Ct.
They do it every year and it grows every year.
No cost to enter and this year I was told over 3000 cars.
I don't get much time to do things like this due to coaching my sons football team.
It was five days a week but since school started it down to Tuesday,Thursday,Saturday,Sunday.

Did you tint your signals and fogs? What did you use, it looks sick!

VHT makes a product called night shades, it comes in a spray can and is the easiest to use. Or you can use smoke candy and re-clear them.

What ever it takes!!
Re: pics of Ty with new hood

A friend of mine did the spray on the brake lights...one looks darker than the other when the brakes are on. I would suggest a 3M film coating instead. I know they make them for the headlights but not sure about the brake lights.

Re: pics of Ty with new hood

So, this hood gives you the same underhood clearance as a stock hood? no extra?

It gives a little extra clearance.
Its a 2' cowl.
I did it to help with under hood temps.

How is the truck running since you got it? Have you been to the track at all with it?

I've always liked this truck.

Re: pics of Ty with new hood

It has been kind of scetchy lately. I had the motor rebuilt and it is using oil so I am slowly narrowing down the culprit. No leaks,no noticable blue smoke from exhaust, nothing in the intercooler or post turbo piping,I am not fouling plugs,Its not the PCV system. Next the intake gasket maybe it is leaking.
On top of that recently it developed a light throttle miss. I am looking into all electrical stuff. It needs to be tuned also. Its hard to find shops that are familiar with Big stuff 3. I was supposed to head to Lebenon valley on October 8th.We will need to address these things first. If I do run it I'll post my results.

Best Big Stuff 3 Tuner is Campbell in Canada or Harry Anderson in PA ---

Harry Tuned my truck and it ran like a Top.

Miss -- always check wires, plugs, caps, and rotors especially if your running a MSd or Ign Box.

Any Other questions let me know
