Re: Pics of the frame back from e-coating

its kinda a matt semi shiny finish but thats like a primer. The best part is the frame is never going to rust it was soaked in acid for 6 hours then baked at 350 for a few hours then washed, baked again and finally e-coated. Now I powdercoat over it and it will be perfect basically forever.

800.00 for the dipping and coating. the powder will be 400-500 depending on color.

Not that hard - you can actually leave pretty much all of the electrical attached to the cab. You have to buy new brake, fuel & trans lines and then your done.

check out the gallery of my gt and you will see how easy it is to do it.

Well I already need new fuel lines, so trans and brake... time to check out your gallery Marty and see if this is something I really want to do...

Don't even think about doing that this year, Nate! You haven't driven your truck in 3 years, don't make it 4+ years.

LOL Dave... exactly what I was thinking... my frame is actually in pretty good shape. Plan on spraying the engine bay and front end as soon as it gets warm. The powder coat does look awesome though.
