Got pulled over by a county cop today in Westchester. I still have the Canadian temp plate on the front windshield where it is supposed to be. He proceeded to tell me that they spelt Syclone wrong, and that the temp plate was in the wrong place. I told him he was the one who was wrong in both cases, and he should tell Canada and GM if he really thought there was a problem with either the name of the truck, or where the Canadians want you to locate the temp plate. He busted my balls for a couple more minutes then let me go when he realized I wasn't some punk kid with a stolen truck. I love cops

I am going to take the Z-06 Chrome rims off my TY, and throw them on the SY, and likewise, I think my TY will be better traction wise with the stock rims, rather than the 18" Z-06's.

Still can't get the damn chipping situation straight, tried the 50# with ultimate, ran super rich, got the Phil Long chip now, and she won't start. I might just put in the Tial wastegate with the 14.5 psi spring and throw the 2-bar and Pitbull back in her, ughhhh. Don't worry, whenever she is running I will post pics, and video! I have to replace the front Diff in the SY, only boost launched it a couple of times, tons of play, it is shot, got a new one on the way and I will be swapping it out at my buddies shop hopefully Friday next week, ughh.

FInally figured out the problem, had to take it to a tranny guy. The front right axel cv boot was smacking the frame because the truck was too low, had them bring it up another inch or so, and am getting a new front axel cause that one is shot. Now I just have to wait for the next problem :tup:

I'm late on this post but Dude that truck looks pretty dam awsome. I like the way he customized it but kept it a syclone and even kept the GMC front emblems on the custome grill.

Yeah, Fern did an awesome job with it, it just has a phantom front end problem. I thought it was good to go, then it started making the same noise again :roll: Gotta love these trucks. My buddy really wants to buy it off me, and that would probably be better for me financially, but I really love it and love to drive it and take it to shows. Right now I am working my a$$ off trying to pay rent, insurance, and upkeep on my SY, TY, and my DD blazer. 3 jobs is barely cutting it, haha. Stupid truck addictions, I think a crack addiction is cheaper than these trucks Took the Z-06 rims off my TY and threw them on the SY, I will post pic's tomorrow most likely.

how come the front end is higher than the rear? and it looks like the rear wheels need spacers.

1. it is, the front axel was hitting the frame so I got scared and went higher, also still trying to troubleshoot a front end problem, and 2. Yup, it needs spacers, but its only got 275's in the rear and it doesnt bother anything for now. Just waiting till I got some more spare loot to throw at it.

Don't get me wrong...the truck is stunning. But if it were mine, I would've gone with black rims to really make the flames *pop*. :2cents:

Well, I did just take the rims off my TY that is down with fueling issues I was thinking the new black Z-06 rims would look nice, I havent seen them on SY's or TY's much. When I get some cash I will probably put these back on the TY, and get some different rims for the SY.
