Ordering a cowl Aluminum hood from Nick is my last thing before paint and I'm pretty excited about it. PPG DBC jet black with PPG2021 clear is going to look amazing on this truck.

However, there has been a little voice in the back of my head telling me to paint it white that just won't go away.

I am seriously 50/50 on the fence about this. I know blk/blk with blk Z06 wheels looks good. But white with blk Z06 wheels would look awesome as well. This has actually started to keep me up at night.

Whats everyone think?

I do too, but am a little tired of grey. IMHO, I dont think it really shows off the lines of the Syclone, or any other car for that matter, as well as other colors. Again, just my opinion. Not trying to offend anyone that has a grey sy/ty.....

Go farther out of the box, pick a crazy color. Candy orange, British racing green, Viper blue, sunset orange metallic, Millennium Yellow, or all of the above and make it the gay mobile.

I voted white, even though it goes against all of my issues I have with OEM looks. Just because the white looks awesome:tup:

White/White is nice, but it has been done.

Try something different -

Haven't seen many green/grays.

A few blue/grays have been done.

Candy maroon/dark argent?

Mandi and I were throwing around ideas for Syclone paint. I liked the idea of a Radar Blue Sy, hasn't been done before so far as I know. Yeah it looks kinda purple, but still pretty cool. Trey?

I do like electric blue. But I am going to stay classic. Colors are like clothing fads, they come and go. Remember when turquoise green was THE color. More recently the chameleon colors are popular. Black or white will never go out of style, so I'm sticking with black or white only....

Then I would do both and two tone it with white below and black up top, but not just the cladding, do it at the body line. Or go black cladding, white up to the body line and then black up from the body line, you would have to stamp oreo on the roof though.

If you go black, why not PPG Concept? Being the PPG man you are, I don't have totell you what that stuff is capable of looks wise. If you do stay black, change the wheel color to break up the side. Just imho.

If you change colors, have you thought about one of the ultra rare Ty colors? Has anyone done that before?

Shamu! There is a ty painted black on top, white on bottom. I like it.

I also like the white/grey syclone look. Like the ones they used for the drag racing challenge. Its a "could-have-been" look.

I also like the dark blue/dark grey...

Paint is one thing that no one can really help you pick, you just do what you like best.

I like the white as opposed to black just because its different. However I'm with turboj... Go over the top different yet classy and go with one of the rare Ty colors!

Laser Blue Metallic. My sled needs new paint, and this is the color. It shifts from a dark blue to almost purple depending on light, but it isn't chameleon. It's a dark color yet very bright and eye catching.
