My Ty was the pace truck at the local speedway. I have pictures of it at the track with all the track / sponsers on it.
lots of goodies since then.
Now to pull the motor AGAIN...........
any one with an LS-"X" for sale?????

I am not original owner, mine was a 1 owner truck about 8 months old when I bought it 2/92. I wanted a 1992 Syclone new because I don't like black and any other color than teal would have been ok. Once they announced no 92's I started looking in october 1991 for one, found a clean low mile unmolested one in Feb 92. Must have looked at a dozen trucks before I found mine.
I am second owner of my Ty, that truck I knew from the day it was purchased by a friend of mine. I tried to buy it from him for years, finally I did. All books and records, even the window sticker.
I'm not the original owner of anyything, I've never bought a car, truck or bike new. Let someone else take the hit, then buy it once the initial depreciation has kicked in and all of the new car bugs are worked out.

Sy is my baby, has 25k miles and has been great. KC 3 times, 3 power tours, just a few fragged trannies all from abuse. Ty has 155K miles and only the transfer case chain has been changed, other than that routine service. Never had motor apart, original tranny, one repaint. Just as good as any vehicle I've owned.

Here is the story: I purchased the truck after my friend Mike told me about it and showed it to me in an issue of CarCraft Magazine. I have kept it ever since. Mike is now an owner also, purchased his years back because he always wanted one also. He goes by Big Mike on .net. We live about 5 minutes from each other and I guess that helps to feed the obsession we have with the trucks. When I went to purchase the truck at a GMC dealer they didn't want to order one. They told me they would have to have 5 people interested in them and have deposits from them to order one for me. Dealerships in my area were asking 4-5000 over list for them so I wasn't going that route. I talked 4 other people into putting a $500. deposit down and ordering them. The dealer only received two of them. One was mine.
