Only 8 lbs of Boost

Please help me out SyTy guru's:

I am only building 8lbs of boost, according to my gauge and datamaster.

I changed the spark plugs, they all looged good except for 1 cyclinder the electrode was touching the top (maybe I hit it putting it in? or...) I changed the spark plug wires to the new MSD set, gave it a new cap and rotor. I was hoping this would help, but I still can't build boost.

I checked the vaccum lines to the wastegate, turbo, etc, visually, and didn't see anything odd. Something else to look for?

Datamaster shows target at 13.7 but It goes to just about 8, can I remove a vaccum line on the wastegate to see if it is malfunctioning?

Datamaster showed a few 'odd' things as well. The knock count doesn't increase while driving, it moved a few times and went from 0 to 80 or 0 to 180 right when the engine was turning over. During that time the datamaster also shows engine voltage at 0? so maybe just an overload?

I'm at a loss, so any advice is appreciated. It's just not the same @ 8lbs.

other problems (my starter still clicks after replacing it with a tahoe mini and abut 4 feet of the purple wire. I bought a mustang solenoid that is going on the firewall by the heater core. My radio exhibits some engine whine, and the back glass won't pop open all the time, all of them seem voltage related, driving around engine is always +13v.

Thanks for the help. -n

My ass. Look at it.
Id say, double check ALL the vac. lines, actually just replace all of them anyways, especially the turbo vac. harness.
