I think that is everyone's favorite article. I love the keg comparison :rotf:

Also, the times they run seem kinda slow (at least for the Sy)

Even when people aren't 100% sure what a Syclone is, they often have a recollection of this article and say "Oh, this is the one they put up against a Ferrari!" Yup.

Yep. I bought that magazine when I was 10 years old. I was so infatuated with Syclones after that, so I figured I would have one eventually.

when i was about 12 in middle school my homeroom teacher was a real car enthusiastic, i read this article the day that he got the magazine, he brought it into class....since then i wanted one of those trucks, but i finally had to settle for ty #156... :D

I picked up one of those issues awhile back on EBay.

It's worth having in print. The pictures make a lot more sense in the print version too.

My favorite part...

"When the truck brakes come off, full-boot torque is downloaded to all four wheels. They barely slip. Acceleration begins with such a jolt the driver feels his breakfast slosh rearward. In a blink, the Ferrari is looking at tailgate. And the tailgate is getting smaller. Half a car-length, one, two car-lengths of daylight between them before the Ferrari tops out of first gear. Makes me smile just thinking about it. ;)

I've seen the article at least a dozen, but just noticed the driver in the Sy looks like he's from Jersey Shore.

:roll: I realize that re-opening this thread opens it up for discussion, but if my request keeps getting buried, I might never get a never get a response because people won't see it.

The article is infamous and has been discussed to death...I just want to know if old skool people know the whereabouts of this truck.
