Ohio gathering may be rained out!! on 27th

Well it looks as though a huge storm is brewing and coming here to Columbus on the 27th and 28th. DAMN!!!! Every one of our meetings seems to be plagued w/ weather problems. IF IT DOES STORM on April 27th there will be NO large cruise-in. the meeting spot will not have the access road open for group parking.
The event can be moved to next weekend May 4th to another show event at Quaker Steak n Lube. PLEASE GIVE ME FEEDBACK ON THIS!!!! I have many prizes to give out and bought a bunch of food + two small grills!! I WANT TO USE THIS STUFF!!!
If you still would like to come out and tour the race shop you can but you MUST CALL ME ON THE PHONE. I will make easy arrangements to meet and just hang out for a while. I can give a tour around 4pm.

Never know about Ohio Weather. Columbus Airport shows 40 percent chance of scattered showers in the afternoon and Plain City shows 60 percent chance of showers in the afternoon. I'm going to try it if it is not raining at my house and it shows no rain in Columbus. I live between Dayton and Springfield. Hope it is dry!!!

Well a little better forecast for us. It seems as though they are not calling for rain untill late in the day. This will work out great if we can have the rain hold off for only a few hours of the show. If it rains later we can finish the gathering up at the Race Shop! A few people who are coming live Southwest of Columbus in Cincinatti (Jesse) and west in Dayton (Daron) They are going to call me in the late morning to give me a weather forecast. If it is dry there it will take a minimum of a few hours before it hits Columbus. STAY TUNED To THIS THREAD for info tomorrow. I think this is still a go. It seems a lot more of you were going to be traveling more than a couple of hours to the meet. That's great !! I will have info for you folks sooner than 12 noon. Please call me whenever you need to leave to be here if you think you are still coming. I will know more details in the morning.
It appears that the small patch of rain in Indiana may be able to pass below Columbus if it doesn't change direction. Lets hope

A very large ban of rain is now in Illinios. It appears that it will not hit us here in Columbus untill very late in the day. I think we will be ok for the show. It is sunny here w/ puffy clouds now. 7:45 am. I will post another update aprrox three hours (11:00am) Looks like it should be nice for a while untill dark. See you here Dale

Well I guess I am throwing in the towel. The storm is moving in fast. It is already at Indianapolis (9:45am) It will only be about three hours before it hits here.
