Does anyone know if the odometer / trip odometer modules from any other GM car or truck will swap with the sy /tys?

I think that is key. I bet you can get them all day long from the junk yard from busted gauge clusters.

I'm going to head up to the dealer today to see if they have any part numbers or anything on just gears and what is involved in doing this our self. I'll post my findings when I get them. (if at all.. )

I work at a dealer you pretty much cant get any internal components to anything electronic.I called the place that we send our radios and clusters to, and they said they cant sell parts they only repair them

I bet they get their parts to fix these clusters from some where. Sounds like a conspiracy.
