Not getting enough boost?

Hi guys-

Recently I've added a bunch of goodies, most are in my sig., but the most extensive are the PTE Turbo kit, Ultimate chip, fueling upgrades etc. My question is this: With the chip set at T1 15, flooring the truck, I'm only seeing 11 lbs. of boost tops. In daily driving conditions if I have to get on it to pass, pull out, or anything my autometer boost gauge never gets out of vaccuum, maybe 1 or 2 lbs. of boost, if i'm lucky.

I'm not sure if I need to adjust my wastegate rod or maybe my gauge is innacurate. When I let off of the gas after a romp, the wastegate is functioning, the 'farting noise"/fluttering-whatever you want to call it happens. So I'm asuming I'm making boost despite the gauge. Do you guys have any thoughts? TIA.

The PTE turbo has a high pressure actuator, you should have it set at 15psi, with no chip control, as the chip isn't calibrated for that actuator yet. So you can hook the actuator up thru the stock solenoid, just unplug it.

Probably need some compressed air to set the rod as well.

Beyond that, exhaust leak, boost leak, not enough fueling...

Hi Brian-

Thanks for the reply, you kind of lost me though with adjusting the actuator. On the PTE kit there doesn't seem to be a plug to unplug, unless I was suppose to translpant something?

If you could explain a little more about adjusting the actuator and wastegate on the PTE that would be great.

I should probably pay you a visit seeing as I only live 5-10 minutes away from you! I'd like to meet ya anyways. Thanks.
