I had a brief run in with some guys in a modded BMW 3 series last night. I had just taken a female friend back to her place and was on my way home when this black or blue BMW lowered with an exhaust comes up next to me. I didn't even notice at first until the kid driving reved a couple of times. I looked over and there were two young guys, early 20's maybe. The driver gave a smile and and a nod to run. I waved and they kind of took off on me the first time. My bad I'm sure because I didn't really think we were racing. So I catch up and we go again and I pull out maybe 4 on em then had to slow for traffic. He gave me a wave and I waved back then had to turn off. The road we were on is by the lake so only has cars coming onto it from the left and it's a 4 lane'r with a turn lane in the middle so it's as safe as it's gonna be. That and it's very straight and smooth.
Anyway, like I said it wasn't really a kill because obviously the driver knew what the Ty was and just wanted to see it run. I wish we had a light so I could have shown him what it can really do. Running from a roll sucks butt usually but last night she did just fine. Those guys were pretty cool and I often hear cars making runs late at night down the hill from my house. I'm pretty sure the guy down the street with the WRX and the guys in the BMW are some of them.
