For Sale: New Old Stock GM Syclone Tailgate

I originally purchased this tailgate several years ago from Ken (Warmpancakes), and had it delivered to Adam (SYO237) for a carbon fiber project that we ended up not doing. I don't have any use for the gate, so it might as well go to a new home. These gates have been unavailable via GM for several years now, and there are not a lot remaining. This gate is perfect for someone doing a restoration, or looking to avoid the Chinese junk reproduction tailgates that are most commonly found these days. Both Ken and Adam are well known members, and this gate has sat untouched since it was delivered, so buy with confidence!

This thing has been sitting in my home office for 2 years. It left here in perfect shape.

After getting a few aftermarket units (they are CRAP), we wanted a true GM gate, and this was one of the last available.

Taking into account the investment required to build the gate correctly, and our current/future workload for our web business, the project just didn't pan out. I truly wish we had the free time and capital to invest in building the carbon gate we had in mind. Maybe down the road we can pick this up again.

Actually still sitting in the box still, next to the new carbon fiber wiper cowl. Truck is out getting the wiring redone right now, and then I will be looking at some of the cosmetic pieces that need to get installed. :)
