Im not saying Im an expert at anything but have been tinkering with "the bottle" for about 13 years. I dont care what it is, what it does, how it runs you can always make it work. Boost is a power adder just like nitrous any time you have more than one power adder you asking for one more headache, period. You can run a turbo and nitrous, too many funnybikes are doing it. ( for you non motorcycle guys thats the funnycar of bikes) I wouldnt shoot down anyone trying it simply for that fact. You would almost have to have speedpro, some type of progressive controller for the big shots, have lots of prior knowledge of using nitrous. Our trucks can take it, its just risky. You have to plan for a serious change when the bottle hits.
1) boost will change. depending on location and type of injection.
2) it will cool the charge air plus add oxygen = double the fuel.
3) timming will need to be altered at this time
4) well I can go on and on
I plan on using a small shot once I have a block built this winter, Ill be using speedpro also. Running a turbo motor on the bottle has a much smaller margin for error. For anyone trying it and being a "pioneer" MORE power to you. Thats how we go faster and faster. If everyone sticks to the same "school" of thinking then we wont be going anywhere....
