wut up everyone. Just got a 93 typhoon on friday with 28000 miles. This thing is PERFECT. Everything is stock and it has all the records since 95. Always wanted a syclone or typhoon since I was a little kid. I have searched this site for about a year just never registered. I see there's a nice community of syty here in colorado.

[hijack] If I may ask, where did you read that Purifoy was the country's top seller of SyTy's?
I wouldn't dispute that he is a Corvette insider, having talked with him at several Bowling
Green/Museum activities, but Emich was the SyTy GM factory contact during the 1990's.
They assisted with the Bandiemere race with Ferrari, and gave several clinics in this region.
At one point I even meet several GM Technicians at Emich who gave classes.
So Im really curious as to your source...I know Purifoy has sold some SyTys but
my experience had Emich handling most volume deliveries/sales to other countries,
delearships, and factory issues in the west. I even met several PAS employees
via phone thru them. Whereas Purifoy is associated with offering "enhanced"
packages for Corvettes, and sponsorship of Vettes over the Rockies and such.
No offense, just wanted to know more on your sources. [/hijack]

Congrats on the new Typhoon......good to see more sy/ty owners in colorado these days! Keep truck fest in mind at Bandimere speedway this year! :tup:

$#it, maybe it was Emich. But I though it was Purifoy. I just remember hearing from Will when I first met him :tup:

Welcome! Where did you find your Ty? Is it a Colorado truck or did you have to travel for it?

It is a colorado truck and came from emich back in the day. Found it at a exotic car dealership and it has been stored for a while. The place is called the motorsports gallery off of 26 and larimer. They are also selling a red typhoon with only 12000 miles on it. Good truck if you are in the market for a collector. The owner is named russ and he and his buddy collect typhoon's. He has 6 in storage. Guy knows a lot about these trucks. Here are some pics

a friend of mine who works downtown told me about that dealership . been meaning to get down and see what they had . sweet looking truck you got there !! We'll see you at the bbq !

Thats the place. Its a cool place to check out. They have some nice cars over there. Russ is the owner and he sold jay leno a green typhoon. He's says jay has the biggest collection of typhoon's with 10. Everyone is coo down there and they don't care if you go down there and just check out the rides. When the weather's nice, he takes people for a joy ride in that gt40 they have down there and will do at least 140 on the street. He's got the thing to 220 on the track before.
