New Tailgate

Its featercarbon. It took long enough to get here :roll: ordered in october, "2 week turn around". Still waiting on a cowl that i paid for. It has a few small blemishes, one is a hair :roll: but i'll have to deal. Thomas is a major PAIN to get a hold of. We'll see when my cowl shows up.

He also makes hoods, but only God knows when he would be able to finish something like that.

Looks nice, I was considering ordering a tail gate like yours from him.. What did he end up charging you for it? Are yor getting a bolt on or pin on cowl hood from him?

Also curious what you payed for it? Does it work with the factory hinges and hardware? Would you mind posting up a picture of how straight the carbon in looking down the side? That would be great!

Carbon cowl (bolt on) and carbon gate (pin on) 700 something shipped. i am buying a pin on hood. weight savings and all. the skin weighs about a pound, my framework to make it bolt on will weigh about 1.5 lbs. i think the stock gate weighed 45 lbs

it is ever so slightly wavy. maybe 1/32 of an inch. but i ain't building a show truck. Although it wont look too bad.

Thomas' quality is very nice, but communication is rough.I have a gate and a cowl from him, and I am very happy with the quality. I will be using him again in the future for a few things, but only when I'm not in a rush
