Wish I would've known about them back in 91. I could've probably got pics of parking lots full of em.

I bought mine new however don't remember taking a picture. It was used as my DD in the day and street raced alot at night. It sure was funny racing people who thought it was just a new S10 and didn't have a clue (until it left). That fun lasted a while until the word was out and then it was hard to get a run. Fast foward to today, it's now funny once again -- there's a new generation out there that weren't even born or were too young to know about these trucks, putting a chrome muffler on their compact and thinking it's a racecar. I was at a Super Chevy Show in Bristol a couple years ago and was asked "where did ya get that syclone ground effect kit", my response of course "JC Whitney". :lol:

Im like the 12 owner or somthing. I remember the carfax and it had a azz ton of owners. My Sy originally came from Texas and made it all the way to MN. I guess no one wanted to mess with all the problems it had when I bought it. It was in rough shape electrically. My camry was faster than it was when I got it.

Not at a dealer, but here's the day that I..... er, dad fronted me the money to get my Sy. Thats me and the previous owner. Dad was in the car tearing up that he was writing a $19k check I think. I was 18 years old. Guy was a collector and had 2 brand new beetles (yellow and blue which was diesel) when they had just first came out.
Im the 2nd owner. Bought with 14,401 on it.

I had it painted in Apr 2001, after some LOW LIFE piece of GARBODGE, sack of MONKEY SHIP, TERD pool, PUS bucket, hit it while PARKED under my carport, in front of my apartment, and then the ACEHOLE fled the scene. I am the original owner and it hasn't ever been for sale, so it had to have been another SY that you saw for sale. Thanks.
