All Ya'll
Just got my hands on a 1993 totally unmolested white Typhoon. Not even a door ding.
Had a GN and loved it, looking for hints to turn it into a really nice street mustang killer.
Killed a 430 Lexus this morning, First Blood. I don't race at drag strips anymore, too anemic, street only :lol: . Looking forward to some help to get her looking and running like yours.

Welcome and congrats. If you are familiar with boost launching (Your GN) then don't worry, you already have a Mustang killer. Were are you located and what truck# do you have (last 4 of VIN)?

Live in Ft Walton beach, Florida (panhandle) My TY is VIN# 0302 (white), New Tranny?? That 700R4 is the same as I had in my 96 Impala SS, held up pretty good. What happens to the ones in the TY? The TY is my daily driver.
I'm lovin this thing. WIll be starting work on it as soon as I finish my big truck (it's getting a 502 heart transplant now)

trannys seem to be the weakest part on a syty....not saying its going to break tomorrow but if your boost launching it then it will go someday...and its nice to have the money to fix it asap
