I finally "finished" the suspension tune-up/update. Last year I did the ZQ8 box and Astro shaft updates. This amplified the condition of the bushings and tie rod ends, so I slowly got to curing those problems, and decided to lower it all at the same time. So, I ordered the PST polygraphite kit. I also got the steering parts through them, including the solid adjuster sleeve. (note: PST kit didn't come with inner Tie Rod Ends). Ordered Moog Idler Arm, and inner Tie Rod Ends. Next up on the parts list was Belltech springs, Keys, and QA1 adjustable shocks. While I was in there I got braided stainless brake lines, Summit racing brand drilled/slotted rotors, and EBC Red Stuff pads, and 7/8" wheel cylinders.
I sat on the parts for quite a while before getting to actually putting it all in. Once I did, I found the rear sway bar link bushings almost totally missing, useless. No wonder it rolled so badly. So, I got to taking stuff apart. Just after taking everything but the passenger side front apart I had surgery and couldn't do much for almost a month, so it sat on the stands sappily in the garage. Finally I recovered and finished the project. Here is how it sits now. I still need an alignment and camber adjustment, and I may put a turn or so on the key adjusters to bring it up in front a little more.
