but essentially the horizontal numbers are your horsepower numbers (just divided by 10), and the vertical numbers are your boost numbers. See the link for how to calculate boost.

So for example, on a syty application most guys will run 16-20psi. Lets say you want to make 450hp with 18psi. You would go 14.7 + 18 / 14.7. The vertical number should be 2.2, and the horizontal number will be 4.5. The 61 is most efficient in that intersection with 76%. However in the real world calculations only get you close, so depending on the size of your engine, how well the heads work etc will also effect the numbers.. A 60-1 will make 500-550hp, but you will need a built engine with a very good tuneup.

I'm not sure if that helped any, but atleast you should be able to understand the compressor maps now.
