New Pics: Decals, Lights, Lowered, etc.. (56K=OK)

First off thanks to SonomaGTlover for making these decals, they came out great! Thanks to everyone else that answered my questions and help me get this done.

Finally got my butt in gear the last week and started using some parts that have been sitting in my closet for a while..

Put on some new clear tails, lowered 2" front/back, blade of death, kenne bell CAI, some other nick knacks, new matching decals, and washed it up pretty good.

I know we all love pics so here they are:













Next I will need to tackle the everlasting battle of making it run great (more parts in my closet...)

The decals look great!
I'm not sure if I'm keen on those particular tail lights. I think some more "clear" ones might look better.
You should do something with the grille letters. Black chrome might look good. Or were you going to do a billet grille?

Looks good, I noticed that you dion't put on the GMCtruck decal though. Eventhough I'm puttin the clear taillights on my SoGT I have to agree that they stick out too much on the black. Maybe if you put the black frames on them off of the originals? Would help blend them a bit. I ended up using the frames on mine.

Do you get the clear directional lights on the front from the same place as where you got the tail lights? If so, I would like a pare of the front lights.

I bought the tail lights off of another board member.. for the front clears they are APC and I ordered them through McCoy Motorsports a couple years back..

I have an extra set of the clear turn signals. PM me if interested

Good luck! Took me almost 2 months to find a pair.

Keep an eye out on Ebay for them or browse through the S-Series boards. There has been a lot of legal issues with them since they don't reflect red when lights hit them. I am not sure how the laws are written but it's my understanding in IL that they must shine red BOTH when they are on and when light hits them. It is illegal to have any white light emitting from the back of your vehicle when in forward motion even if it's a reflection.

I put mine on anyway!!! What the heck? I'll take a chance.:tup:

i had them on my old v8 s10 and never got messed with as long as the bulb covers were fresh.

i would have to fail them on missouri state inspection as they dont have red reflectors and i guess a cop could mess wot you too

dont hate on my sold tail lights! I kinda dig em on the truck, and not just cause they used to be mine....

I agree, they look ok but feel it would help to put the black trim frames on them. I used them on my all whites and it helped against the blue. I'm sure it would look even better against the black that he has. Just my :2cents: but there's no doubt that the truck looks great:tup: We can all agree on that.
