New Owner of Sy #1991

Just picked up the Sy yesterday. It has a few issued that must be sorted out. It has blowby from two cylinder, so the motors coming out today. The truck has 102K on it repainted 2 years ago, 4 mixed matched tires and the headliner needs to be replaced. The interior is very clean. No tonneau cover or spare tire under the truck. I did find all of the owners manuals and a mint Syclone dealer brochure under the seat.

This truck was only 18 miles from my house, the owner also has another Sy, a GN and several 60's muscle cars.

Good to see you finally got "approved" to post here! You're sure not wasting time pulling the motor! Let me know if you need any help tracking down parts, some were a bit difficult to find. Congrats on the purchase! Is this one for Paula?

Dont most motors have blowby to some level?
Oh and congrats on entering into a realm of smashing your head into the garage floor every time you work on your Sy.

Thanks, everybody I've always wanted one. I've heard all of the horror stories of ownership. Try owning a BMW M3, everytime you disconnect something under the hood another warning light on the dash comes on. Trip to the dealer to clear the codes again.

I had to give the BMW to the wife so I could get the SY. I thought it was a good trade, Don't tell her I cheated her. :rotf: I'm sure she'll be driving the SY or the GN to our gatherings.

If its running good, heading to the Shindig in Nov would be great. Could probably slide over to Tampa to see my daughter.

Actually funny story. My truck number is #1992. I thought I had a 1992 Syclone when I first bought it for some reason (was only 15 when I bought it). Kinda funny, but it took me a minute to realize it was truck # 1992

Yep, I've got quite a few fun cars now. After I retired from the Air Force and the kids are almost gone. The wife doesn't seem to mind me buying the cars, she wouldn't let me buy while I was on active duty.
