Just a pondering this after some a$$ tried(and failed) to steal my rims over the weekend and mucked 'em all up.

I've always been a fan of black wheels on an all black vehicle, so I was thinking, since I need to refurbish my wheels, I could get them powdercoated black. But since these wheels aren't known for their durability, I could also get some zr1 for an equivelent cost.

just looking for some thoughts oin this... can't afford to do much until my xmas bonus, so now is the time to entertain the option I guess. It'll just have to look like crap till then.

I'd go with ZR1 or Z06.

One thing to keep in mind - if you keep the stock wheels you don't have to get new tires. If you go to the ZR1 or Z06 wheels - you'll have to get new tires.

Remember the stock rims aren't really worth all that much either..

There were pics around somewhere of the stockers coated black .. I'd concider checking them out first before investing the money or at least I would.
