New on the scene, need help!

SUP SyTy owners,

I'm a newbie and been repairing my Sy for a couple on months now. It's all stock and got almost 60k miles on it. I just completed a 60k service (belt, plugs, distrib cap, rotor, fluids, tires, new brakes, new wheel cyl).

So I have this really rought idle issue, I did a bunch of checks and finally have narrowed it down to the #4 injector being shot. I was looking for injectors and found these...
Marren Fuel Injectors. http://www.injector.com/oemfuelinjectors.php
Any opinions?? Remember, I'm totally stock.

Also, does anyone know where to get gaskets and old rubber odds and ends for the hood hinges, ect? I can't find squat in the jeg or summit catalogs. Thanks in advance.

Post a WTB in the market place. I know someone on here has to have a set of injectors laying around.

I've got a set of six sitting around somewhere I think. I think they came out of Todd Dearborns' truck when he decided to move to larger ones WAY back in the day.

Anyone know what they are worth?? Couple hundred bucks? I can have them flow tested and cleaned if you like.

$100 would be top dollar IMO.

Sounds like a good price to me......If you want them tested/flowed ahead of time I can have that done, but would like to pass that cost along. I'll provide a reciept of course.

Otherwise $100 shipped sounds good to me :D

Considering the offers guys, thanks a lot. I also talked with dude at marren, he said I could get all 6 brand new, 0miles, flow matched $250 shipped. Sounds pretty sweet, he's got just about every injector every made too so I don't think this is a small time operation.

What about gaskets for the doors and stuff guys, anything?

i got 6 stock ones for way less than that, with about 5000miles on them.

$50 and you can come pic them up.

Ok, sounds like a deal to me! What kind of injectors are you running now? Do you work on your truck yourself or have you found someone that actually knows what they're doing?

I was just going to say Q.S. has some for sale. He does most of the work himself. AS do most of us. Oh..Welcome BTW. Injectors are fairly easy. Just bleed of the FP through the valve on the rail. Pull of the upper IC. and remove the 4 bolts holding down the rail and gently lift up and remove injectors. The Plugs are labled as to what injector the go to. A few of the rail bolts are a pain so Have a few extensions and knuckels handy. 1/4 sockets work the best.
