New Guy Saying Hello

Hey everyone, just wanted to stop in and say hello. I registered a while ago in hopes of one day owning a Sy. My good friend up in Michigan slpcamaross97 got me hooked a few years ago when he brought his home and I've wanted to buy it ever since. Well the timing was right and it's going to a good home.

A little about me. I'm in the USAF and currently stationed in Georgia but I'll be heading to Korea for year in August. My current ride is an '07 Traiblazer SS and my wife drives a Cosmos Purple '04 GTO. Here's some pics. Can't wait to add Syclone #2163 to our stable of GM modern muscle!

Welcome. That is a clean Syclone you bought. So when you aren't in Georgia or Korea do you live in MI?

Thank you! Cosmos was a one-year only color, with a total production run of 700 in that color. We drove up to NC to buy it two years ago.

No, I'm stationed here permanently until I get orders somewhere else. I went to HS with Kyle and I've lived in the area for about 10 years prior to joining the military. My parents still live in Goodrich.

Both rides are killer! Anything done to either the TBSS or GTO? Welcome to the site and make yourself at home. This site has a wealth of information and is making my research pretty damn easy. :)

Thanks! The TBSS is my daily driver so nothing too crazy (yet). Only mods are powder coated wheels, 265/50 BFG KDW2's, Pioneer navi unit, and a Katech billet tensioner. Plans are in the works for a mild cam, Circle-D 3200 stall, and Kooks headers.

The GTO has Pacesetter LT's, catless mids, and Flowmaster 50-series. Couple of appearance mods like CV8-R smoked tails and 18-inch wheels off an '06.

Loving this site so far as I'm trying to learn all I can about these trucks!

Aren't those 17" :dunno:

I thought these were the only 18" that they came with?

Their 18x8 ;) The 18's were optional for 2005 & 2006. The 17's were standard on all three years. There also identical to the Holden Monaro VY wheels offered in Australia. They look good on your truck!
