i am going to rebuild a typhoon and looking for any info on the truck as far as getting parts and wire diagrams and sensor values. its my friends truck and the engine has been taken apart and left for the past 8 years, and most of the stuff has been stolen. i don't know what so far but i am going to put it together and get it running. i own a buick grand national. so i know some stuff about the ty/sy.

just don't put a buick motor in it unless you want to tell everyone that ask you if its a grand national motor in it yes...which gets old real quick.

Welcome. What # is the Ty that you are working on? They are great trucks... After you rebuild it, you may want to get rid og your GN for one!!!. This SYTY Community is the best there is for anything related to these rare trucks. You came to the right place. Good Luck...

na its one of these friends friends truck that he don't have a clue about these typhoons i am putting it back to stock and there is ali=ot of motor and interior work to be done so i am getting all the info i need to put it back together for him... i do have a 89 s15 jimmy i am putting a rebuilt 4.3 into it...
