Me and my roomate were rolling down the street and passed a new GT. I looked at him and gave it some gas and he did the same. So from about a 60 roll on I pulled about a half length ahead then finally at about 100 he caught up with his gf hanging out the window laughing at me. Or maybe she was laughing at herself Im not sure. But I know I was laughing at them. Then I let off cause I know he would pull on my from there and i also saw the speeding ticket sitting on my dash thats going to cost me a lot of money already. Still fun though.

Haha there's some fine ass girls around here....unfortunately they're getting of the bus from the High school!! I wish I were 16 again! :fist:

Ohio...wayyyyyyyy across the country. You're in high school still right? I think I remember that from a previous post... Are you anywhere near Will in Denver from this board? I told him when he was in Cleveland I was coming out there sometime and all of a sudden a friend of mine tells me she's going there for her job soon....So watch out CO. :drinking:

Back to the women.... On my way to work everyday I'm stuck behind a schoolbus and let me tell you...they didn't make em' like that when I was in school.... :eek: granted, I was fast asleep all through hi skool, but...

Yup, I am 11th grade. Wasson High school, in Colorado Springs, CO. You may have heard of us, cause our school has been in lots of car mags., for our drag team. God it seems like there are 10 hot girls at my school, thats it. Oh well.

Well be optimistic. 10 hot girls. :D Thats 30 holes you can play with. Out here the ratio is 100 men for every 1 woman. At best that means there have been 33 dudes in every hole. Its so boring out here I sit around and do math like that. haha. Thats a freaking joke, all the women are married or tweekers anyway so who wants them. :drinking:

Saw a new Cobra at MIR this weekend run 11.4 - 11.5's. This car was so stock it was sick... Intake, chip and drag radials will get you goin pretty fast with the new Cobra.

Damn! THAT SUCKS! Last time I heard where I live there was somewhere between 9-11 women to 1 man ratio ::baddevil::

I cant wait to hear what folks pay for insurance on them new cobra's. Once Johnny Allstate hears you can run 11's easy, the cost is gonna be insane. I am with you Mike. Dime a dozen isnt my thing.

MIR? Are you talking about LaRue/Marion Raceway? Just curious.

I usually go to LaRue/Marion and National Trail but I have never seen a Sy or Ty at the strip.

Ran a Mustang GT in my dad's GTP tonight. Are those things slow or what?He was directlly in front of me, & when the light went green, he 3/4 gased it, got about 2 car lenths ahead, then I took off, & passed the car next to me, & took its lane. He saw me coming, so he floored it.

When the race started I was aprox. a 1/4 car lenth behind him. (at his right rear fender) I slowly walked passed him, as he barked emm in second, & I kept walkin. Then he let off, as did I. At the next light I asked him if it was a real GT, he said,''I don't know anymore." Then he asked what was done to the GTP, I said nothing. (which is true. The custom intake manifold cracked under 11 pounds of boost, so we put the stock intake, & pulley back on, so now the car is stock agin, mostly)

Is this normal for a Mustang GT?

A stock GTP runs high14s, to low 15s. My guess is that it was not a GT. It had a V8, so I don't know. He decided to speed like 20 over the speed limit, & I did'nt want to get pulled over for doin 65 in a 45. So I let him go. So I did'nt really get a good look at him.

UGH how I hate mustangs. There is a guy on base that is forever talking shit about how I have too much confidence in my truck against his Mustang GT. He asked me "What car is better all around on the street then a Mustang GT" bwahahahhahahahaha. Im sick of not having my truck run. I want to shut him up so bad. He asks things like "Why do you think a turbo and awd make your truck so much faster off the line then mine? I have traction control" Anyways Ill post that story as soon as I get my ty running or when my roomates ty gets here.

I love how many of you guys hate Mustangs. :wink:


And Ron, the explanation is that a forced induction car doesn't lose nearly as much as an N/A car. So the Mustang's ~.5-1.0 second advantage at sea level is negated by the SC on the GTP. Of course a little engine work will cure that....
