New BT Sway Bar update

A lot of you have been emailing me asking about bigger sway bars that I talked about being in the works a LONG time ago. First off, sorry it's taken so long to get these going. I have lots of excuses, all which don't matter, but here are some of them: Our controller was caught stealing 100's of thousands of dollars from the company-true story  (this made my job as Purchaser way too busy, also our R&D and machine shop was disassembled and moved to a new location (bigger and better, now with our warehouse). I have been so busy working through all this that I couldn't even find the time to visit this board very often. But now I am back, and here is your update. The front bar we made is 1-3/8" and is identical in shape and mounting to the factory bar and will come with urethane bushings. The new rear bar is identical to the old bar but is now 1-1/4". Both bars are being sent to powder coating today and should be ready to ship by the end of next week. I am putting together a one time group purchase very soon. Don't call your suppliers yet as they don't have the new part numbers or pricing until I release the parts. Any questions just let me know.

got pics???

I would be interested to see if these will benefit a truck with coilovers.

Also I'd like to compare your rear sway bar design to ATR and see which has a better design.

It shouldnt be hard to out do ATR tho'.... honestly.

this is probably a question better geared towards jeff scott or nick. how does the stock swaybar mount with the coil over a-arms? i like the design of the newer style front sway bars with the end links rather than bolting to the bottom of the a-arm.

i'm guessing the mounting points would be the same for the coil over arms.

Arms are designed around stock mounting. Simply because that is what everybody will have.

I can probably look at 2slow4u's truck, and the newer style and see how complex it will be to make an adaptor or special arms for newer style. Although I wil be honest, with the time/money involved, I can't spend much time as I have a full plate already at this point.

i can take pics of the newer style lower a-arm. from what i remember it's simply a tab on the side of the a-arm that the end link bolts to.
