Can I play devils advocate?
First movie was based around a Eclipse, Supra, RX-7, Charger, S2000 and some sport bikes.
Second movie was based around a Skyline, Eclipse, EVO, and 2 muscle cars.
Third movie was based on a Mustang, 350Z, I believe another Skyline and more muscle cars.
No Type R anything and very little VTEC.
Can I play devils advocate?

This always cracks me up. I can't count how many times I've been told my truck would be faster if it had a manual in it or that its slow cause its an auto.

Wasnt that thing running like mid/low 10s? Someone at the nats asked me what I was running when looking for a truck to go up against that car....at high 11s I figured Id better keep my butt in the parking lot.
As a side note the vtec stuff is awesome! My neighbor bought a honda push mower and when the vtec kicked in he mowed his grass as well as mine before he could get stopped which saved me a few hours of yard work in the hot sun. Thank you honda :tup: .

Couple comments on this. First of all you are racing for money, it is on you to make sure the playing field is level not anyone else's responsibility. I knew the outcome of that race so I did not bother watching so I can't comment about it being long.
Second, I believe I warned all of you before that race that none of you had a chance, I knew the kid iwth the GSX as we had raced him many times before over the years, noone listed to me, coulda just handed dude the money and not beated on the truck.
Third, McCoy's S10 they had there would have lost as well, it was a high 10 second truck at that time correct? The kid with the GSX is Ricky he no longer is around but he made quite a penny picking on people who under estimate him or just don't give him much of a thought at all.
To make an excuse about the 1/4 being longer from 1320 is just than, an excuse, that GSX had every syclone and typhoon in that lot covered and then some.

Yeah, its called dirty racing when you start extending out lengths to finish. If that was the case, im sure Kris woulda backed down to a top end speed race as it turned out to be. But hey, thats streetracing and we werent on our home tuff. We handed over the money regardless of being cheated.
Like I said...guess thats how ChiTown rolls on the street....

No that is not how everyone rolls, normally the two people will go down to the end and acknowledge they know where it is if they had not raced on that road before. But doesn't mean chicago races clean either, normally is just stealing the crack which is usually enough to win anyway.
But like i said, if it makes you feel better I will tell you that that DSM coulda given the syclone 10+ cars easy and still walked it regardless if the race was a mile, 1/2, 1/4 or 1/8th. It was a purpose built, sponsored car.
