Re: Need Opinion on Launch.

I was there at the start line watching from the other side. I agree video is hard to tell, from what I saw in person I can say I am 95% confident it did on one of the runs.

Now I will also say I don't think wheelies are the fastest way down the track, at some point it is all wasted motion, although fun.

The 1.601 60ft time though, speaks that something is working decent. I wonder what the 60ft would be if we didn't have this heavy, power wasting, terrible 1st gear 4l80e. Probably 1.4's or something.

Of course I am not sure the 700 would like the AWD burnouts and actually make it to the line for a pass either.

I don't think it did.

I was at the track, but couldn't see through the John-Force style burnout smoke that M Hardman created with his 2wd Ty.

Watching the video I don't think it did either. I can't see anything under the wheel. The coloring/shadow's around the wheel should have changed more.

IMO, Keep trying, you're dayum close if thats what you're shooting for. Although I do have to say that the one run where you had smoke come from all 4 tires out of the burnout box was more impressive than this particular video.

Look just barely to the left of the left front tire...there is a small dark spot there and the little black ant walks right in front of the front tire. Kinda hard to see because the black ant on the black spot on the black pavement by the black tire doesn't stand out too well but watch it move. Then Jeremy takes off and the ant is still walking after the front tire passes over it BUT the back tire laid it flat out.....thus my vote that the front tire must have lifted off the pavement a smidgeon.

Maybe said ant lifted the tire only to be sidetracked long enough to get flattened by the rear tire.

Have to vote yes because it appears a tiny ant walks in front of the wheel and after the truck left the line, the ant is still walking. Proof enough for me!!
