I have bought a syclone that a idiot let sit up for 7 years i have replaced the fuel pump fuel filter spark plugs spark plug wires distributor cap and button and changed the o2 sensor right behind the turbo but the check engine light is still on it idles fine and revs fine but under a load it busts up what other sensors does it have that would kick the check engine light on and does it go into a limp mode when the light is on

May be a dumb question, but did you drain the tank of gas that has been sitting for so long?

it's not only sensors that could give you a cel light. get a scantool such as datamaster

yeah i drained every bit of gas and put fresh im thinking it might be the injectors partially clogged i put some injector cleaner in it and the check light comes on and goes off and sometimes you hold it to the floor it runs good but when the light comes back on it starts busting up

How about what code the CEL is showing to start out with?

You can use a paperclip to read the codes, for the time being. Do a search for paperclip and aldl. You should be able to find instructions on what to do in the search results.

CEL=CHeck engine light....

What code is it throwing... hop on chat sometime we can help you there real fast most of the time.

Spark plugs do play a huge roll in these trucks.. no larger of a gap than .30

ok i will find a paper clip but ill have to do it tomm night i keep the truck at a friends house in the barn out of the weather but which holes do i put the paper clip in im new to all this wiith the truck i just got it and i put the plugs in the way the came from gm like a idiot i didnt even check them and where will it show me what code it showing if i dont have a meter

it has beeen so long i really had wet eyes because of a picture. this has got to be the most funny thing i have seen in a while. thanks!!
