Need help code43

Bought a non running truck rebuilt motor and soon as it starts engine light comes on. Code 43.. Motor runs smooth and idles good 10.0 on scan master.stock motor but has mad coil and distsetup. Truck been sitting for about 18 months.i installed a turbo tweak chip with egr delete.i replaced knock sensor with autozone part.clear code and soon as starts flags code 41 and 43 on scan master. Not sure what 41 is..any help be great. Also can someone send a link for wiring diagram or ppt for ecu..

I chased my tail with this as well. Thought I put a good auto zone sensor in but once I went to the dealer and put a GM sensor in it went away!!!

They even price matched on line...

what do you mean memcal? I bought chip from you eric under Richard reel..i left it on pump gas tune..should I have done something different.

I tried that at the dealership by my house, the same one I bought my GTO from, and they wouldn't budge. Haven't gone back since then. Stingy bastards.

make sure you have the memcal on the chip carrier...

I think what Eric is trying to verify is what number is on the squishy part of the memcal

Any memcal that has the original Syty knock control circuitry will work. You can tell by the part # on the little circuit board. The 2nd and 3rd digit will be "14". (At least from the research I've done.)

The actual eprom chip (Pitbull, KB, etc), doesn't matter at all, since it is being bypassed completely.

We'll I created my problem by not reading directions. I did not install chip on the chip .guess I am use to turbo buick chips..thanks Eric for help. I need to pump out the old fuel what's easiest way. Is their a connector to ground that turns pump on?
