Need chip advice.

Hey all. I am new to the board. I own a Syclone #1121. I just purchased a bunch of parts (adj fpr, 40lb injectors, KB street chip, CAI, 160degree thermo, fuel pressure/oil pressure/water temp/boost gauges, walboro fuel pump, jabsco water pump, plugs/wires/cap & rotor). My truck before this was completely stock with 40k miles on it. I was reading up on the KB chip. I found out that it disables knock detection. So i will not be using that. Its ok i only paid 115$ for it...ill just sell it. So anyway i am in need of a chip. I was thinking of the STG Ultimate chip and i was wondering how well it would work with 40lb injectors. Anyone have any coments or advice.


Just got off the phone with PTE. They said i can return the injectors and upgrade to the 50lb. All i would have to do is pay the difference. I was reading something about the 50lb ultimate chip. Please advise.

Ultimate chip is the best chip on the market. There are so many choice all in one unit. As far as 40LB injectors, I am sure some of the other guys can answer that for you.

As far as the injectors go. I would exchange the 40's for the 50's from PTE. You will not be able to do anything with the 40's. The 50lb ultimate is designed for 50lb injectors, and will support up to 600hp.
I'm not sure if anyone is using the 50lb ultimate on a fairly stock truck. Most people need the larger inj because they have done heads, cam, turbo , etc.
If they say you can run the 50lb ultimate on a fairly stock truck then thats your best bet because it will leave you plenty of room for future upgrades.
