Need a SyTy Expert to Meet with near KC

I have had 92 Ty 1714 for three years now and haven't really done anything with it. I am quite mechanically inclined, but I am not a SyTy expert. I have a lot of questions and would like to meet up with/chat with someone local that has a great deal of knowledge.

I have raped the "search" button but I would be interested in talking to someone, too. I know this is sounding like a creepy personal ad, but I just need some advice.

For example: My truck is a wiring nightmare from the previous owner, so I'd like to see another truck side-by-side with mine to compare components. I also need advice for my intercooler pump, to set my boost controller, and to figure out why I cannot run more than 10 PSI without the truck freaking out.

I'm here as well in Merriam. But I fit into the category of not knowing a lot either.

Yeah, as far as working on them I know a decent amount. I have never messed with tuning, so not much help there. And in no way would I just take my word, I knew more about them 7 years ago, I have forgot a lot.

Really you should be able to find anything you need on here. And the powertuneplus (tookys page) has a butt load of information in one spot.

I say after thanksgiving before Christmas we have a lunch/get together, I know we talk about it every now and then. But Ted was the last person I saw and that was two years ago now I think.

Thought it was, and then didn't hear anything for two months. Called them about two months ago and they said one of them was messed up and needed to be looked at/worked on. Haven't heard anything after that. And my emails never got any reply at all.

Fck it. I'm calling them right now.

A KC meet would be cool, have to be after March though for me...I wouldn't have a sy or ty to drive there yet either. Ill be in the middle of swapping the motor on the Ty when I get back.so possibly April for me.
