Two words: Dog Whisperer. Best show ever.

Seriously, this sucks. Looks like kids are easier than dogs. And my kids are begging for a dog. And I'm :afro:

trust me, their dog has had major issues from the get go.. as a puppy he was kept in a crate in someone's basement, they litterally threw him food. he had ZERO interaction with people for 95% of the day. my parents adopted him, he was fine until the first time he grabbed food off of the counter/dinner table.. the second one of us attempted to get it away from him he flipped.. growled, bit, attacked.. my parents never did anything about it.

right after I first got caddy, we were over their house for a family party.. their dog (rugby) was staring at caddy trying to figure out what to make of her, I was holding rugby by his collar.. he went after caddy growling I pulled him back, he immediately turned around and bit me on the face.. 6 stitches later and a nice scar on my lower lip I was back home, the hospital sent a specialist over to their house to check him out to see if he was vicious.. of course they determined he was perfectly normal..

this became an issue with me and my parents for awhile, I don't think they should have keep the dog, he should be put down for the issues he has and it is their fault for not training him at all. We talked it out and things are resolved, I ignore the dog and they don't ask me to watch him, meanwhile they love my dogs and ask to see them whenever possible.

Their dog is getting old and already showing hip problems, he won't be able to walk in another year so i'm just waiting it out. Even good dogs can have bad sides and no one knows about them until every situation has been tested.

My parents had a dog like that. It was rescue who was abused. She bit mutliple family members and scared every dog that came in contact with it. We thought she was old (Rescue estimated her at 9-14 years old), but she lived another 7 1/2 years and only ever bonded with my father. It was only her last year that she stop terrorizing other dogs.

before he is ready to die he will loose all movement in his rear legs, our last old english sheep dog has the same problem.. eventually they can't even stand on their own legs or get up when they have to go to the bathroom, it really is sad but it is a part of the breed.

in order to put monster into a kennel he needs to get another bortadella shot.. I believe the shot is $100 at the vet..

You need to move outta NJ... Pretty sure I pay $10 for that @ the groomers.. It may be even less.

Looks like we've got a room reserved at a pet-friendly hotel down the street. Not sure if we'll be up Friday or just real early Saturday, but we'll make it for sure! Renz, would registration money help, or should I look for you when I get there?

I had to take a cat across country once that was car sick within 10 miles of first leaving.

You would be amazed by the 4th day the cat was walking around the car like normal while going down the road.

Small kennel, lots of towels, nose plugs, and a roll or 2 of paper towels. Monster will get it figured out and you won't have a car sick dog after the trip.

I would prefer you pay now, rather than at the meet. Thanks!

Registration taken care of. We won't be staying at that hotel, since we have to bring the cats along. Paypal address so I can take care of that? Total still the same?

ps...according to that list, the holiday inn IS pet friendly. ??

I just noticed that, their website doesn't say anything.. and they don't show up on hotels.com as being pet friendly.. the hampton inn down the street is though..

of course this all depends on if danielle wants to bring monster
