Ok here is some rookie questions, unless there is major failure I will be heading to the big show. Sorry for asking question that shoud be obvious,

1. For the Denver guys, do you avoid the toll roads in K.S.

2. Is regestration at the track or hotel?

3. What is the name of the track and is that where all the Q&A tech sessions will happen.

I am sure I might have more as it gets closer but for know that will help. :tup:

Track is KCIR, (Kansas City International Raceway). Tech sessions (depending on weather, ect) happen at the hotel.

No, I just pay the toll. It isn't that much (~$6 IIRC).

When are you heading down? I'm trying to get a caravan, but so far I'm the only one.

I plan on leaving Thursday morning, but i am so far north I probly will take I-80 across. The toll road makes me be a cheep skate, my sy is going down in a trailer and if the charge by the axel.... But if it a shorter trip down I-70 I could be up for that.

Yeah, they charge for each axle. Let me know if you want to meet up in Limon or something.

On Thursday morning? I could meet in Limon. The only big deal for me is that I am trucking down in my RV and I dont push it very hard. I am only good for about 65mph if thats cool with you. If i was just driving the sy I would be ok with triple ditgits all the way to KS. How many tolls on I-70? So I can have change ready to go.

only toll in ks is from topeka to kansas city
even with the extra axle you are prolly looking at $5 id guess

Only 65? Damn, I was hoping to set the cruise at 80 and forget about it (75 in KS since the limit drops to 70 :roll: ). I PM'ed my # to you.

Dude, you won't get pulled over doing 80 through Kansas. That's the limit though... no higher than 80. When you get in between topeka and KC, you can do 85-90.

I got pulled over doing 100+ on the way home last year :lol:

Anyone know if Kansas transferrs points to Colorado? Anyone know how to check?

No on the points, out of state out of mind. Just donate money to the state you get pulled over in. (not sure on the over 100 mph) I guess I would be suprised they did not take you to the gray bar in for a night... Any way looking foward to meeting new people seeing new things, pulling a couple slot handels and stuffing a few bucks in some strange girls panties!! :tup:

I've heard that Wyoming is now a point transferring state, so I wasn't sure about Kansas.

some states do share info with each other. Your insurance most likely finds out about it regardless.
