I am planning on going and imagine I will be bringing the ty. I would love to tow it to be safe but not sure that is gonna happen.

most likely.. however if I can get a truck/trailer i might consider leaving the 5th after work.. but at the moment i'll probably be driving it down and leaving thursday night. :tup:

i dk if this would matter or not but if one of u wants ur truck towed find a goose neck trailer long enough to fit two and u can ride along with me help pay some fuel and i'll put a hitch in my bed to haul a goose neck i'm sure the cummins can handle it i've had it to 14,700 on the scales at the scrap yard loaded before so it be fine

Well I just asked for that whole week off and my plan is to drive down with you guys. Would we be arriving Thrusday night? I figure I will make my reservations tomorrow for the room at the "official" nats hotel. Im getting excited now about it, truck is running great and hopefully will be a smooth journey.

If i could drive it over 3000 miles in a week for Hot Rod power tour with the v6 and 700r4 with no lock up im sure the 6.0 & 4l80e with lockup combo will be a breeze :tup:

Where are you guys planning on stopping for meeting points? Coming from my house I could go up to York or head out 70 and catch it somewhere in western Maryland depending on times.

i am in i have off 6th and 7th and 10th so i can go on the 5th night. dont know if i am bring a syty but if not ill have a extra trailer for someone, if i bring the srt8. if i bring the gn or ty i will have to find a way to get the hitch on the srt8 to tow.

I am trying to get off of work to go. I have a dodge quad cab if anybody needs a ride if I can make it. I will only have my girl with me. I will most likely bring tools just incase if anybody thinks it is a good idea to. Maybe an extra set of Jackstands. Plus if someone breaks down and needs parts I get a 20% employee discount at Advance auto Parts.

i forgot i told jeff at etown he could use it if i dont. well anyway we will see how it goes, the plan would be to get the trailer hitch for the jeep, fix the ty and tow it down. chances are ill drive the jeep with nothing done to either.

Its fastest for me to out to Buffalo and down, but i want to caravan It looks like my best bet would be to meet up around Harrisburg. What time would you be going through Harrisburg?

Say El Capitan is LBI long beach island by any chance, I spent a good portion of my youth in surf city, back then the parkway and turnpike cops had chrysler 300,s and merc turnpike cruisers, they could haul pretty good for the 50's
