After looking at the options and hearing from Keith about his, I've pretty much decided that this is a good way for me to go, as it doesn't cost much more than a Dynotech rebuild, and it permanently eliminates the boot problems. The shafts by Brandon and Al seem to be a bit excessive, since an Ultimate is probably the biggest mod I'll ever do.
Keith's shaft is a Raylok 50-357, as the pictures show. Apparently that's an old number, and they can't just cross reference it to a new number (part changed, etc.?). They found a 12-352 for $261, but that was under Sonoma 4x4. Would a regular Sonoma shaft work? Can anyone say for sure if this is the same part Keith got, or what the new number would be? I know some people use the Bravada shafts...
I'd like to replace my propshaft before it blows up and trashes the rest of the truck in the process, so any help at all is appreciated.
