my transfer case has started leaking from the driveshaft...

my transfer case has started leaking from the driveshaft connection. it started doing it after i reinstalled the driveshaft. anyone know the procedure for replacing that seal? ive got the transfer case out and sitting on my floor. hopefully gonna tear into it tonight. need to study that CD i got from opie.

Its not a hard fix. Just pop the old seal out and put a new one in. I replaced mine just to be on the safe side when I put my 9/11 in. I got mine from the dealer but you might be able to get one at one of the chain stores (didnt check the chain stores myself as it was only like $10 or so from the dealer).

Just be sure to use a seal installation tool or a block of wood (like I did) to drive the new seal in gently and as "square" as possible. You dont wanna drive one side in then the other as it will most likely mangle the new seal. If you need help just holler at me on my cell since Im stuck in the house for a while.
