I have to agree 100%... I like this forum because its not about whose dick is bigger and who has the faster better looking truck! The guys with Stock SYTY's get just as much praise and compliments as a modified show truck!

I want one so bad.

I've been searching for the last 2-3 years. I had a chance to buy one back in Alaska but it needed a major overhaul that I wasn't capable of doing with leaving for school. Living in Alaska is another factor that really puts a hurt on you. Shipping a small truck is around 1200-2000 from the midwest. Seattle would be my #1 choice since its about $800 to get it on a barge from there. I'm also waiting to gain some knowledge on these trucks so I don't jump into something and have it blow up on me on the maiden voyage. My searches usually start where I have family located in the lower 48. Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Nevada, Arizona the I outsource to many of the southern states.

Still searching I got another year to save my change so I'll be ready. Again good work on a nice TY. Hopefully I can find a deal like you.

Someone on this board recently scored a Sy for under 2k. Complete, just needed a battery to run. Awhile back, I passed up on a Typhoon with 32k, for under 3k. Just gotta know where to look and be on top of it.
