My Ostrich install

A while back, I removed the PROM from my ATR Pitbull and put a Moates 2Timer in its place. I never really did a whole lot with it, other than putting my slightly tweaked BBZB on it and verifying with different chip codes that it really did switch correctly.

When I got my Ostrich, I replaced the 2Timer with the Ostrich's header. My MEMCAL is still inside the ECM enclosure just like stock, and just has the ribbon cable sticking out.

You can see in the first one where I flattened out the little dimple in the cover, in order to clear the 2Timer and EEPROM before. That may not even be necessary with the Ostrich header. The last two pics are where I ran the cable through the access panel in the back of the glovebox. The cover doesn't seal tightly enough to do any damage to the ribbon cable there, but I did put a few layers of electrical tape on the edges of the ECM enclosure. It's pretty easy to feed the cable into the glovebox while pushing the ECM back up into position. I've got easy access to the Ostrich, but it's out of the way and I still have most of my glovebox space available.

Unfortunately I forgot to take any pics of the MEMCAL itself before I put it in, so I'll have to do that next time I pull it out.
