wow... havent posted here in quite awhile, so here some quick ones to get back in the grove now that my truck runs again....


Out cruising with Dig while hes in town...datamaster is glowing on the laptop in front of dig, im piloting the syclone with its fresh trans and newly upgraded turbo. after a few quick pulls off on a side road and get some collected data, we get back on the main road where a mustang pulls out along with me.

now, i know i shouldnt be getting on it until the trans is broken in....but damn, the truck is running pretty decent on low boost, so F it... i jump on it and get up next to him... after rolling just past him, the stang jumps on it and i get back on the gas... after about 2 lengths, he backed off and turned off on the next road.... wussy.



next day, cruising back home, i roll up on a prowler with an older guy driving. Open exhaust and big turbo, i flew past and let him know i was in the area. the prowler driver perked up and got on it... i let him roll up next to me and stabbed the throttle.... easy kill. he came back up next to me and gave me a big smile and thumbs up.



Not much for racing.... i'll make up for it soon enough when the truck is fully tuned and running full boost :wink:

Those porwlers are more bark than they are bite. Not much power under the hood of those suckers. They just look cool. And by cool I mean bad ass.

prowlers. all show, no go.


this was proven back on Power Tour 2000(?) going across from daytona to ocala....about 65-75 miles. We had about 7-8 FAST trucks doing the cruise. Full tank of gas... Gary S. myself, Ian and a few others were determined to arrive with the first group and stay in front....plus most of the good muscle and fast cars hang out in the front.

triple digits was the norm. Every passing lane was a chance to bury the needle. corvettes, camaros, mustangs, chevelles, rat rods... we passed all sorts of fiberglass and metal.

Doing my best to stay with Gary, who was leading the FAST group, we came across a prowler.... and i think we started racing at 80-85mph with everyone taking their turn. I dont know how fast we were going, but the prowler wasnt going with us.


ive never ran my truck so hard for that long of a period. Why it doesnt hate me from it, dunno... but i went on to flog a Gen 1 lightning on video when we arrived in Ocala. :fist:
