MTX-L installation questions

I reading that the MTX-L wideband will literally replace my existing (I believe 1 wire) narrowband o2 with a heated wideband. The gauge will then send narrowband signals to the ecu.

I have a few pieces of the puzzle to put together:

1: Does the OE o2 bung match the threads to the wideband?
2: Will the output on the gauge accurately send info to the ecu as the old o2 did?
3: Does anyone here know if my ecu is the same as yours? (7427) as I'm reading posts about hacking the existing ecu to read the wideband to adjust fueling. (another topic I'm very interested in)

Thanks for your help! Hoping to post my first burnout video in the next few months. Keeping my jackstands busy as God intended.

Re: MTX-L installation questions

If anyone googles this question:

1 yes the threads matched.
2 yes the mtx-l will send a simulated signal to the ecu, I posted which wire specifically to tap into the ecu here on the forums. I think it was pin 10 purple.

3 haven't figured out if you can reprogram the ecu to read straight wideband signals yet. It would be awesome though.

By changing to code59 you can have the ECU utilize wideband signals.
