A post in the parts wanted section sent me looking through my spare parts storage today, only to realize I had one of these sitting in the "To Sell" pile. :)

1 MSD Pro Billet Distributor P/N 8367

Was originally purchased during my swap to XFI, only to find out I needed a different dist to make the setup work. For this reason, I am about certain that there are zero miles on this piece. Looks to be in great shape, has been stored past several years.

Some research shows that these go for about $300 new. I am looking to get $250 + shipping, due to being nearly brand new.

:) TO SWEETEN THE DEAL :) I will include a set of MSD 8.5 mm super conductor wires with heat shields. These wires do have approx. 5k miles on them, and are a bit dirty, but work fine. One of the heat shields managed to slip off, and I will leave it to the buyer to reinstall as it is a tight squeeze to get them on and I don't want to risk harming the wire\ if you don't need it there

So, to recap, $300 like new dist + $70 wire set + ??? heat shields = $250 plus shipping :)

Is it a direct swap from the original? And what would it improve from the standard one? Sorry for asking :)

Yes, they are a direct drop in. Here is a write up I found on them:

These Pro-Billet Ready-to-Run EFI distributors from MSD are the perfect upgrade when you start making serious power with your EFI Ford or Chevy. They use a stock-style trigger pickup and come with plug-in connectors. Installation is simple by removing the stock distributor, then plugging in and bolting the new one in place! A maintenance-free magnetic pickup accurately triggers this ignition with increased output from the amplifier, easily outperforming stock ignitions. They will smooth out the engine's idle, improve starting, and perform at a much higher rpm. Their housings are machined from billet aluminum, using state-of-the-art CNC mills and lathes. Im interested, but I wanna buy a chip from TurboTweak also, so Im kind of trying to save money for that.
But the parts look interesting :) Thanks for your help...
