Yes we where there with Robert, saw him made a 10,2x pass then a 10.02 then down to 9,7x the track was slippery and 60´was a slow 2 sec to the best 1.7x still manage to hit a couple of 23x-24xKm/h passes..


The best run was 9.72@ 242km
Best 60 fot 1.79
Best 201 m. tid. 6.60 189km

He was the nr 1 qualifier. when the rain stopped the eliminations in the different classes Robert had defend his title on the worst possible way.. BUT he did lover his ET from last years sååå. :D
and sorry to say the rain put an end to all the eliminations in the different klasses, it was just the KOE (all klasses against eachouthers+ last years winners) there Robert "jumped the gun" and out he went..

and the kalabalic started..

the Italian car was disqualified (had NO battery INSIDE the car so when stalled on the burnout aeria they had to start it whit battre from outside and got disquallified), then an english car was disquailfied (he crossed the middle line due to water from the italian cars intercooler spread a sliding puddle on the trac)

Then the Swedish Camero.. for wrong tires in the front..

The Polac Typhoone was a disapointment.. crappy built, no safety loop around the shaft and no cage justa a loop with some bars on bad weld job, sorry to say they did some fine 10.3x passes but not anny faster ?!?! no blow the doors of Robert NO 9 sec passes,

the audi was and uggly car to.. managed a 10,2x as best.

They had a verry nice EVO with them that was a fast car a 9,5 as its best with tons of noz..

Winner of the KOE was a Big Block chey lots of Noz in a red Jaguar he did a best of 10.4x :D

The plastic rockets where disqualified along the race...

Wow that really bites.

It sounds like the event was full of disappointments for lots of folks.

Rain tends to spoil the fun, but all the disqualifications had to be gut-wrenching.

Who did the other typhoon belong too? fairly stock looking one pages 5 and 13? how did it run. looks like its got 2 nitrous bottles in the back on the last page. glad NHRA rules didnt apply ;)

Looks like some pretty wild rides. I cant imagine living anywhere where a GM is a foreign car though...

That was a (I belive to be) stock Typhoon from france with only Noz added. did run in the real street class with a breake out 12,51

The tension on the startaeria was INTENCE english men in near hooliganmood, italian running around cursing,crying,fight willing you name it :D and the swedes... stod like a ? the front runners had passed inspecktion 2 times and on the final run they didnt????
